3 Valve cover harness repair kitPosted by MIKE BENSTINE on Jul 14th 2025 I had one burnt glow plug pin, and the housing was burnt at that outside pin. The tool worked well for getting the pins out. I was able to keep enough wire length (lost an 1/8" or so), but the tangs that grab the wire are very, very, very short. I imagine to do this properly requires a pretty specific crimper. I crimped as best I could and soldered. The blue plugs that go over the wire do not seem to have the correct internal diameter for the wire. I feel I succeeded with the repair, but I'm not doing that again! I'll splice and solder in a new pigtail that also has five fresh metal pins.

5 connector repair kitPosted by Stan on Feb 11th 2022 This seemed pricey at first but after receiving it, it was worth every cent. I lucked out as the tool that came with the kit used to remove the pins from the broken connector. All of the original wires and pins had no damage so I was able to push them into the new connector and gasket . Worked great .

5 Exact fitPosted by Chad on Dec 7th 2015 Perfect fit. Better than splicing a perfectly good harness. NEED a special crimp tool. You can buy a decent one for $20-30. I'm extremely happy with this repair kit

4 exact replacementPosted by Dave. on Oct 26th 2015 I gave this product 4 stars simply because it requires a crimping tool to install the wire terminals. I found it easier to solder the connectors on vice crimping. Fortunately only one terminal needed to be replaced along with the plug housing. 3 of the 5 supplied terminals were used in the attempt to attach 1.
Still better to use this kit rather than cutting and splicing the harness. Riffraff is my go to supplier for 7.3 parts. Thanks.
