Hardened bolts are good factory quality and a must if you are upgrading from an early 99 7.3 to the later 99-03 pedestal setup.

Belive it or not something as simple as gettomg a new bolt is ome of the best things you can get.. people may have heard or not but the original bolts are made to stretch a invisible amount by means. You would never know the diffrence but the engine will. Knowing you have brand new hardened bolts to put in is a releif on you mind and the engines mind as well... you can buy the bolts for much cheaper at a hardware store so why not get the one oackagard and designed for the exact application... very glad i bought these made a relief on my head after rebuild.

Purchased with deleted pedestal and up pipes. Anti seized all bolts when putting back together and these like all other products I've purchaced here fit perfect.

It is a good idea after years of heat cycles to replace these. I got these and the 2 turbo bolts and feel better having new high quality bolts
