Stainless Steel HPX for Ford 7.3L 99-03

The Stainless Steel High Pressure Crossover is meant to allow excess oil pressure to flow between both heads allowing for better supply to the injectors. By allowing the oil the flow to the opposite head, the issue of pressure spikes are less. HPx line comes with adapters, ready to install.

    Very satisfied!

Posted by Unknown on Jan 3rd 2018

I was wanting this oil crossover for a while, and then finally bit the bullet. It helps way more than I ever thought and read from other reviews!!! My truck is way quieter, which is nice, probably half as loud. It starts easier, and is much quieter in the cab. Easy to install. Just make sure you have no leaks right off the bat.... Because I was trying not to overtighten the bolts and didn't see a leak. Then a couple days later there was like 3 quarts in the valley. Moral of that story is I don't think you can overtighten them, that basically bottom out.
    I am more than satisfied!!

I installed this cross over (as i do with all my new customers) and the customer called me a few days later to ask what i did to his truck to make it so much quieter. Ive installed plenty of these cross overs worth every penny.

    Great piece that works

Posted by George Reed on Dec 25th 2017

I had put one on my 99 7.3 and it worked so well that when i bough my 2002 F250 it was one of the first things i bough for it. I also bough a fuel crossover as it works equally as well!

    Riffraff FRx and HPx Review

Posted by Unknown on Dec 22nd 2017

I installed both the Riffraff FRx and HPx at the same time, Installation was relatively easy. A little bit of a PIA to access the front FRx fitting with being a tight fit in that area. Rear fitting was easy to get to, especially with air intake boot removed to access the HPx fittings. It does seem quieter inside the cab of the truck, but I can't say for sure. Might just be me expecting it to be more quiet with these items installed. Regardless, by design these items should help out my 2002 Powerstroke. Another quality product from Riffraff diesel.

    Does what it's supposed to

The hard steel line is a nice touch compared to some others. Idle quality is a bit better, but don't expect it all at once; by installing you introduce the line's volume worth of air to the hpo system. Once that's gone you're golden. If you want less cackle go with a fuel crossover.

HPx was the easiest mod I've done to my 7.3

Posted by Eric U on Nov 16th 2017

I did so many different mods to my 7.3 while I was doing the CAC boots that I don't know if this one or the FRx smoothed my idle out more, but it is definitely smoother.

    worth every penny!
My old ford 7.3 runs soooo much smoother,

better throttle response, better fuel mileage!
