As of now I can only speak on the quality of the part. It is a very sturdy item, definitely built to last. However, as it states in the description, it will not work with all t-4 mounting kits, in my case it isn’t even close to working. I installed an irate t-4 kit with 369sxe and it will not work using factory HPO lines. However I noticed that if you get longer HPO lines made to use different ports in the oil rails you can put the HPX in the port used by factory lines closer to the front of the engine. I’m sure this is what I’ll eventually do, but for now I’m just enjoying having my truck back.

Little rough on the first start but after that started better runs smoother not sure if its any quieter. So far I’m happy

Done this and the regulated return at the same time. One of them made the engine run smoother and quieter or both don’t know. Easy install quality product. Why did I wait so long to do?

I have a few things done to my truck, injectors, turbo, frx, cvds and tuning for single shots. Amoung other things.
But point is this thing really smoothed out my trucks performance. I swear it feels like it pulls alot smoother under a hard excel.
The idle was pretty rock solid to begin with with the FRx injectors and tune. It was steady, and smooth. I honestly noticed a bigger difference during higher rpm pulls on the throttle then anything else.
It feels like it has really played its part well with my other mods.
Highly recommend it cant speak for a stock truck but for a modded one it def. Icings the cake.

Took all of about 15 minutes to install the hpx and is a great easy little mod to prolong the life of your 7.3. Riff raff is the way to go.

Installed along with the FRX, both noticeably quieted engine down and smoothed up at idle.

read about this product for awhile. Bought it and literally installed it in 10min. left everything in place. perfect fit. Honestly i was really skeptical that this would do much but, after I installed it it is a huge difference. Motor isn't necessarily quieter, but it smoothed the idle out considerably. It was actually pretty shocking how much a difference it made in smoothing the idle out. I would really recommend this to anyone with a 7.3... one of the best bang for the buck things i have done on the truck. doing the hutch and harpoon mod next and have the frx, cvd and banjo bolts sitting on the shelf ready to go....
