Definitely worth it! My suggestion is get the boost fooler or you will get codes. Nothing major just annoying. It really feels like a new truck. I'm loving it! Thanks RiffRaff!

I really like this Intake, it went together pretty easily and it fit in the engine bay perfect. The only negative was that I wasn’t able to install the rubber trim ring on the clear lexan filter cover. The cover fits, but it’s a very tight fit and there’s no way I could jam the rubber trim in between. It’s just a cover, no big deal at all. But performance wise I’m happy with it. There is a lot more turbo noise especially when you let off the throttle under load, there’s a big whooshing sound which is pretty cool not gonna lie. The engine itself actually also sounds a lot more throaty and thick sounding in the cab. I also feel more confident in how this systems intake hose attaches to the filter. The factory air box doesn’t have as positive a seal as the S&B. S&B uses a solid hose clamp to attach the filter, whereas the factory just uses a flat filter that sits in box and is clamped by the cover, not the best design and this improves it a lot. Overall very satisfied!

Fitment is ok if you feel like fighting with it. The one I got would not bolt together out of the truck without some finessing. Going into the truck was the same way. Once it was all together, I enjoyed it. Could have been built more precise. The clear cover and gasket was also a hassle to put on. The gasket could have been form fitting. Not worth the money, however I do enjoy the functionality of it. Attention to detail from the manufacturer would have made it more than 5 stars. Too bad that’s not the case.

Awesome product, super easy to install, well built and fits perfect. Shipped out fast it arrived two days sooner than planned.

Put it in my 99 7.3 and it was a breeze. Even with my 3 year old son "helping" total installation time was about an hour. Fits right in there and makes a noticeable difference in sound and throttle response. Too early to tell if there was any gains in fuel economy. I'd buy it again for sure.

I finally upgraded my intake and my 7.3 is much happier. Idle is much better. Small mileage increase. Easy install. All hardware is included.
Would definitely recommend the S & B intake kit.

Everything is pretty good, EXCEPT what they don't mention is that if you have an after market intercooler it might not fit. My Banks intercooler has larger than stock pipes and the snorkel will not clear it. Had to cut off 2". No mention of this in their discription.

Purchased this to go along with a major overhaul on my 2002 7.3. After replacing the up pipes, turbo, added a banks power elbow, deleted ebpv, FRX, HPX, and CVD fittings. Installing this air intake was the easiest part. Installation done in under an hour. Directions and fit are right on. Really cleans up under the hood

Good instructions, easy to install with minimal tools, really improved the looks of my engine bay, & had a noticeable performance gain.
