This is a first class kit. I had a cheap one and it was just that cheap. Bought this kit after I saw one and it it great. It is a true cold air kit it seals to where the sir comes from outside not out of engine. Great performance.

Absolutely without a doubt one of the best CAI I have ever owned. Super easy installation, fits perfect. Getting to your power steering cap can be kind of a pain but is definitely doable, S&B has a video to show you how if you’ve heard horror stories. Would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to upgrade or install a new setup on their truck!

Installed this after installing a wicked wheel, TS6,4inch exhaust, 30psi turbo actuator, oil cross over, fuel fouler,and what a difference it made. I am getting true cooler air going in,my egt's dropped by 150 degrees and and fuel mileage went up 2 mpgs. Along with my own version of the zoodad this air box really flows the air especially at high altitudes. You can definitely hear the air flowing through it. It is louder,but that does not bother me one bit. I would highly recommend this product.

Easy install, sounds and feels great. Nice improvement over OEM. Huge drop in intake air temp. Ignore the reviews mentioning the plexiglass lid not fitting, the system as a whole not fitting with aftermarket intercoolers, product not being made detailed enough, no access to power steering fluid etc... They didn’t read the instructions. It fits perfect if you read the instructions. All of that is addressed.

Fairly quick and easy install. Comes with all parts and instructions. Noticed lower IAT and better intake sound

Great improvement over the OEM intake. After installing, you can definitely hear the turbo whistle (more airflow) with a stock exhaust. Just pull the trigger on this upgrade; it’s a solid investment

Assembly was fairly easy and satisfied with the perfomance. Nothing life changing, but it seems to run smoother and can hear the turbo slightly better.

Things I did not like:
Your batteries cannot be larger than OEM or they will not fit in this tray. You have about twelve inches width to work with and thats it.

I cannot remove or check my power steering fluid due to clearance issues with intake tube. Tube portion has to be disconnected at the ring clamp just so I can remove the filler cap.

Also had to drill out the holes on the clear top cover because they were not aligned well to prevent cross threading. Took multiple times carefully having to drill the holes slightly larger a bit at a time to get it to work. This is the one absolute part that needs to have a precise and clean final finish because it showcases the filter and is what makes the unit design appealing in the first place.
I gave 4 stars due to these unknown issues. Other than that I like it and believe the pricing is slightly above fair verses the competition.

I purchased the S&B intake kit for my 2001 F350 with the 7.3L and I was extremely impressed with not only the quality of the product, but the instructions as well. Everything felt very quality and putting together and installing was a breeze given they have extremely detailed directions!
