Exhaust Back Pressure Valve actuator rod leaking? This is the most common use of the Non-EBPV pedestal, just eliminate the EBPV all together. This pedestal manufactured by Garrett is a simple drop-in solution for your Early 99 Powerstroke that was built 12/7/98 and before.

We recommend you also get pedestal orings or our reinstall kit as well to install your pedestal.

Early 1999 is a production date 12/7/1998 and before

Looks good and works great. Be careful re seating your turbo as you don't want to mare up the surface. another must have to stop the oil leaks.

If your not trying to break the bank and still get a dependable and durable pedestal, I'd highly recommend this one!!! It's a top notch part and would highly recommend!!!!

Finally got rid of the old EBV pedestal that has been leaking for years. Good fit but did have to loosen the Up-pipes at the manifold to get the turbo to line back up.
