Riffraff Diesel 7.3L Powerstroke Injector Cup / Sleeve Tool Set 94-03
Brand New Patented Design!
We have refined our injector cup/sleeve tools over the last 12 years, using them ourselves and as rental units, and we have now been awarded patents on their design and released them to production. These tools were designed for 7.3L gearheads by 7.3L gearheads.
Unlike our competitors’ cup tools, our design is engineered for efficient, repeated shop use removing and installing the injector cups. We believe removing and installing the injector cups should be a more surgical operation, not something requiring beating cups in with hammers and leaving brass filings from the removal process behind. Thus we have designed our tools with tight tolerances and clean injector bores in mind.
Since we utilize the latest in metallurgical and coating technology it allows us to thread our removal tool into the damaged injector cup without creating any filings or chips to fall into your cylinders. Both our puller and installation tool use bridges that are quickly fastened to the injector mounting holes, eliminating the need to remove your rocker arms and allowing for a faster overall job.
Our Patented install tool is really the breakthrough; rather than hammering on your new cups in tight spaces and hoping they are seated, simply use a socket and allow the tool to press the cup in. The tool allows for a completely seated cup every time; no guessing and no hammering, even on the back cylinders or e-series vans. To ensure our install tool doesn't deform your new cup as our competitors’ tools do, it is machined to engage both the full surface of the cup bottom and the top lip. The tool also features an o-ring as a keeper to allow strategic placement of the cup in the injector bore instead of dropping it in and risking displacement of your sealant. In order to allow the cup to seat without turning in the head, the install tool is engineered to include a ball bearing to prevent cup rotation while being pressed in. All hardware has been coated for rust resistance as well as to achieve a Rockwell hardness of over 62 to ensure a long life.

7.3 Injector Cup Tool Set works great!
The tool kit worked perfectly. Well worth the money to be able to do the job myself.

Perfect
Well...almost perfect. I rented the tool set and the Allen heads on the two hold-down bolts were worn-out-sloppy from use. But other than that, this is a fine tool that makes quick, clean work of replacing injector cups.
I used this on a `95 OBS. The cups were original with 330K on them. I had no issues what-so-ever pulling them. -
Best Cup Removal/Install Tool on the Market
I have used several different tools, and by far this is the best one yet. You can easily remove and install cups in the vehicle.

Great Tool
The tool is a high quality product that does everything it is supposed to with ease. It makes the job of replacing the cups in our INT 444E's a whole lot easier. These engines are mounted under the body of the bus and you cannot get other tools in the confined space.
Thank you Riffraff for another great product! -
Good looking tool.
Very well made! When I do get to use it i will know a lot more. the craftmanship makes a lot of sense to me, rather than useing a hammer.

About as good as it can get.
This is the second injector cup too I have owned. The first one was a hammer in style and was difficult to replace the cups in the rear cylinders with the engine in the truck. I wish I would have had this too for that job. This tool is worth every penny more then the lower cost tools. If you are going to do the job with the engine in the truck, save yourself the grief. The tools come in a nice carry case and both are well made. If I had anything to say negative is that for the tool remover you have to screw in the 2 bolts to use it where the other extractors just drop in. Nothing major.
I put up some pictures and more details on my website at www.gtsparkplugs.com look under automotive tools and you will see a quick review there as well.

Amazing Quality & Design!
We have been using these tools from Riffraff for over 2 years now in our shop. They do a great job, especially on Vans and I can't believe how low of a price they are selling at because I would have paid double if needed. Best of all they are Made in the USA and it definaltey shows. The quality is very noticiable in everything from the case to the actual tools. Couldn't be happier, these guys really now how to design and manufacture.

Great tool. A little spendy.
Works as advertised. Doesn't create any shavings...good design. We did two sets of cups and had zero problems.
