My Excursion had started intermittently bucking/sputtering/cutting out. A little at idle and then when cruising at part throttle. Replaced the ICP first (it's easier) and that didn't fix it but this did.

Plan ahead and find a super deep 1 1/16 (27mm) socket to be able to take it out.

Works great, fitment is perfect.

Oringinally I ordered an "oem motorcraft" ipr on amazon for about $175. It did not have a serial (or part number, whichever is on the solenoid). Pulled it, ordered one from RiffRaff, this one showed up with the numbers on it. Thanks to RiffRaff for always selling top quality stuff.

I never knew how bad my IPR was, until I replaced it. My tunes are all cleaner throughout all RPMS! Idle quality and mileage are much better!

Replaced mine as preventative maintenance and it works perfectly. Also bout a Cps, Icp and EBP sensor from Riff Riff.

This ipr valve works great, I just had to take it apart one time and clean it before it worked, I tried three other iprs (other brands) two of them were broken from factory, And the other one I also just had to clean but i ended up returning. My suggestion would be just to clean up before you stick it in the truck.
