....you must buy a pair. Your cruiser will thank you. These are beefy and most important they cannot unthread, yes the nut can come loose but it physically cannot unthread. My previous set and also the set before that would always get loose and unthread and ovalize the bushing. These prevent that. I am so happy with these.
These look great and were easy to install on my limited. I didn’t have to remove any trim. I was able to install them by myself using a floor jack to lift the rock sliders. Even with the x-reas system, it was easy to install; simply remove the 4 plastic supports next to where you bolt it on, slide the rock slider behind the lines and bolt everything on.
I was really pleased with Metaltech. I ordered rock sliders for my FJ Cruiser. I just missed a sale, so I emailed the team and they honored the discount even though I was a few days late. Order shipped quickly and I had them within a week. They even gave me flat rate shipping on my order. They arrived undamaged with all the required hardware for installation. Install was pretty easy. I enlisted the help of a friend and we had them installed within 90 mins start to finished. They really make the FJ look sharp!
I’m glad we waited for Metal Tech to design and fabricate a rock slider/step for the Bronco. These are the most substantial set of sliders on the market. They fit perfectly and attach right to the factory holes on the frame. Love the look of them on my new Bronco!
