Alliant 7.3L Powerstroke Injector Cup Set 94-03 7.3L

These are OEM Alliant injector cups priced as a kit of 8. With your purchase of the cups, we offer you the option to rent the injector cup puller/installer for $75. The rental fee will be taken from the $499 rental tool deposit paid at checkout, with the remaining deposit refunded upon our receipt of the rental tool in good condition. Simply email us within 30 days when you finish with the tool, and we will send you a pre-paid USPS shipping label to return the tool.

Our Patented puller allows you to remove the cups without removing the heads or using a slide hammer. Also, by using the tool to grab the cup, you can inspect each cup for damage once it has been removed. Other methods (typically a tap) are likely to damage the cup during the removal process and create shavings that end up in your cylinders.

Our Patented install tool is really the breakthrough; rather than hammering on your new cups in tight spaces and hoping they are seated, simply use a socket and allow the tool to press the cup in. The tool allows for a completely seated cup every time; no guessing and no hammering, even on the back cylinders or e-series vans. To ensure our install tool doesn't deform your new cup as our competitors tools do, it is machined to engage both the full surface of the cup bottom and the top lip. The tool also features an o-ring as a keeper to allow strategic placement of the cup in the injector bore instead of dropping it in and risking displacement of your sealant. In order to allow the cup to seat without turning in the head, the install tool is engineered to include a ball bearing to prevent cup rotation while being pressed in.

We also have available for purchase the retaining compound and injector o-rings used by Ford and International when reinstalling the cups.

*Please note that if the tool is not received back within 30 days from customer receipt, then a $25 late charge will be withheld from you deposit. If tool is not received back within 60 days, you will lose your entire deposit.

    OEM Quality can't go wrong

Posted by Robert Frost on Mar 13th 2018

Best price on cups and Clays tool for extraction and pressing in is the best on the market, very precision tool. This procedure couldn't have went any smoother with his rental tool. It is extremely easy to use both the extraction tool and the tool for pressing in cups.
I did learn something from Loctite Tech support, as I wanted to know what temperature does the Loctite 620 retaining compound work at. They told me 60 degrees Fahrenheit and above, and suggested using Loctite SF7649 Primer for below 60 degrees. Since the temps here in AZ have been below 60 for a high the past couple weeks I went with this. It came in a 4.5 oz spray can, so I used a small Artist's brush and sprayed it on the brush liberally and applied it too the injector bore where the retaining compound will meet with it. The Tech guy at Loctite said it is for speeding the cure of retaining compound as well as temps below 60 degrees. Also, you will want to purchase the Injector bore brush set to clean the bores, very important. Thanks Clay, as always you have all my diesel needs.

    Saved me $$

What an amazing company! Received my OEM cups and sent back the discolored dorman I got from auto zone. I also rented the tool, that thing is amazing! I almost bought a tool from eBay but after doing this job I can't imagine using another tool. It was so precise and well engineered. I am so glad I found you guys and didn't let the local shop charge me almost $3000 for this job. $50 rental fee, cups, and rings and I was done. 5 stars!

Do not do the injector cups without this tool

Posted by Josef Helphinstine on Dec 25th 2017

The tool made it so simple to remove and reinstall the injector cups in my 99.5 7.3. Do yourself a favor and wait for the tool.

    Excellent set

Posted by John S on Oct 29th 2017

This is my first time doing this so I was really nervous about even attempting this job, but the $3000 - $5000 dollar quote to do this job forced me to take a chance. Not sure about the Rosewood set as far as pounding the cups in especially the back four, but this set of tools made the job a breeze. Hardest part for me was cleaning the back four cylinders, so I bought a endoscope from Amazon which hooks to my phone, still a pain but was a life saver. Thanks to Riff Raff diesel and all the forums for the help!

    Quality tool and easy removal

Posted by Unknown on Oct 20th 2017

Couldn’t have done this without the riffraff removal tool. I have used the other slide hammer and removal tool, nothing compares. If your doing the cups on your 7.3 the only way to go is riffraff removal tool.

    Good stuff

Received these cups well packaged. They fit perfect and were smooth enough to not cut the o-rings on the injectors when installing. I would buy again, but I hope I don't have to!
