It's one of those parts you must have, and it absolutely must be good quality.

I took a chance on this. I could not read the codes. Check engine light on, engine stalling, hard shifting. Valve cover harness looked fine. Saw oil in the ICP electrical connector. OEM part.. perfect.. even with shipping it was cheaper than the stealership!

I have been chasing an oil leak in the valley for over 2 years. I have sealed and resealed the turbo, pedestal and HPOP to no avail. A mechanic at work suggested checking the plug on the ICP and it was full of oil. New sensor fixed the issue. The only thing I had to do extra was pull the hoist bracket that sits below and behind the sensor and grind it down a bit to make sure the sensor seated all the way down. Not sure if it was needed but I did it anyway.

my icp sensor did not have oil in the pigtail, but I did two other tests, and it was throwing the 1280 code, idling low, shut off intermittingly, running weird, changed it out with this new one from riff raff, runs like a champ now, night and day difference
