I went this route based off not wanting to cut a hole in my dash for the flush mount. I'm happy with the location, I don't have to reach for it like I probably would have to use the flush mount.

This is a very simple install and it looks really cool.

Purchased a hydra chip and this mounting bracket together and like always shipping was quick and was packaged very well. After installing tunes on the chip mounted the chip to the mounting bracket and was a breeze. Great quality and would purchase again!
