Our 2nd Generation FRx™ System utilizes Eaton Aeroquip® 304 Stainless Steel Braided lines covered with a groundbreaking protective layer of HYTREL® from DuPont.

The FRx™ was made to solve the 'deadhead' fuel rail issue on the 99-03 Powerstroke engine by connecting the two heads and allowing a metered return you allow the air another return path, rather than forcing it through your injectors. This product was designed to eliminate the need to cut your return line and use compression fittings, so that it is a true bolt on system. We have also machined the FRx™ block to provide from stock to 72 psi of fuel pressure depending on which spring you choose to install it with. By using our kit and eliminating the air in the fuel system you can experience smoother, quieter idle, less cackle, and better throttle response among other things. You will also be increasing your injector life as well by utilizing the FRx™ and creating a regulated return back to the tank. Protective covers are also pre-installed to prevent chaffing of engine components from the SS braided line. These covers are also great if you want to keep the system looking OE and not draw attention to it once installed.

    This works great. If you experience a surging after install you probably installed a spring with too much pressure (psi rating). I also modified if the slightly so that both feeds were at the front of the heads and the returns came back under the turbo to reduce heat transfer to fuel (might not make any difference at all).

    Still cannot believe how much smoother and quieter the motor is running after installing the Riffraff FRx fuel rail crossover. The throttle response is an added bonus. This is a must for your 7.3!!!

    This is the second one I have installed on a 7.3. The fitting that replaces the factory regulator on the side of the fuel bowl is difficult to install only due to the fact that the factory fuel return line does not have very much wiggle room. I love the fact the injectors aren't dead heading anymore, especially for #8. The product looks nice and clean on the engine. Great product.

    Truck does feel smother with this mod. I just wished the square plug socket tool would be provided for the DIY installation.

    I just recently installed Full Force Stage 1 injectors and the FRx seemed like a good idea to eliminate the fuel rail deadheading and improve injector performance. It seemed to quiet the injector cackle down but going from split shots to single shots, it’s hard to tell because they are quite a bit noisier than the split shots. The instructions were well written and thorough. Some tips, I did buy the square socket which made the driver side a breeze but wasn’t very useful on the passenger side. One truck I did use for installing the new fitting on the passenger side was a piece of tubing over the JIC end made holding the fitting much easier while trying to start the threads. A small handed helper would’ve come in handy too. Either way, I’m very pleased with the quality and simplicity of the kit and would recommend it to anyone looking for an effective and affordable alternative to a complete regulated return fuel system.

    I bought this amongst other things from Riff Raff. I also got the oil cross over line as well as the ccv delete plugs. These parts working together has made my 7.3 much quieter especially at idle, it has a smoother throttle response and when returning back to idle from higher Rpm’s it doesn’t clack anymore.

    I was skeptical about some of the claims in the description, but man, they were all true. I switched my 00 7.3 to single shot injectors and was disappointed about how loud the idle was, and just not running really smooth. Installed the FRx, and magically the truck runs like a top, idles smooth and quiet, throttle response is great, and even at highway speeds, truck is way quieter. 10/10 for the FRx, easy to follow instructions online, install was a breeze.
