If you do not have the time to rebuild your drain valve or if you are one of the unlucky few that has a damaged drain valve, this is your solution for a long lasting repair and not have to use the poor performing Buna-N o-rings that the factory valves force upon you. If your drain valve is still in great shape, we suggest that you simply purchase the Complete Fuel Bowl re-seal kit and rebuild your fuel bowl including the drain valve and replace the problematic drain valve o-rings along with the other 8 Nitrile o-rings in the fuel bowl that will also leak just like the fuel bowl.

Fuel bowl drain valve replacement
Always a joy to be able to acquire factory parts from Riff Raff. I noticed a diesel leak while the truck was running, and noted it was coming from the fuel bowl drain tube. Upon taking the valve off, I noted the O rings were practically nonexistent. Being able to replace something like this with an updated Ford part keeps ‘em running!

Fuel bowl drain replacement
Order reached Tennessee in 3 days using the cheapest method, so very pleased. Wished I had had a finger/palm ratchet to remove/install the 4 screws. Didn't have any of the tools people used in the videos to reach them and it probably took me an extra 2 hours to figure out how. The part fixed my leak and on my test run, I headed directly to HF to buy me a finger ratchet!

Worth it!
Bought this along with the fuel bowl rebuild kit with the Fluor silicone O rings. Original drain valve looked questionable and for the price chose to replace it as well. If you wanna save $40 and MAYBE risk having it leak or break soon after, then rebuild the old one. If the thought of pulling your fuel bowl out again makes your eye twitch, like me, then maybe get the new one!
