Had an overheat situation pulling my RV up a long mountain pass last summer, fan clutch was original 200K on it and I hadn't noticed it wasn't extra loud when truck would start up cold. Managed to to get through my vacation with the bad fan clutch, I got home and ordered a new one from RR, works just like is supposed to. I've read and heard lots of negative comments about aftermarket fan clutches on the 7.3, so I didn't even bother trying one. Thanks again Clay for offering Motorcraft original parts ( at the best available from a reputable source) on most of the common items these ageing 7.3 Powerstrokes need to keep trucking like they are supposed to.

If you are in need of a fan clutch don't mess around with the parts store ones they won't work. Order the factory Ford one and my running hot problem solved, excellent customer service as always from Riffraff

My fan clutch recently went out and strapped for cash I bought an aftermarket one. That was a mistake. The clutch stayed in gauged all the time. Luckily I kept the old one and put it back on until I had enough money to buy the OEM one. Works great! Fast shipping as well! Thanks riff-raff.
