Motorcraft Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor 94-96 Ford 7.3L
The PCM uses data supplied by the EBP Sensor to determine the fuel requirements at any given time while the truck is running. A bad EBP sensor can cause sluggish performance buy signaling the EBP valve at the turbo outlet to close at times that it should not close. A defective EBP sensor can also contribute to poor mileage.

Obviously this OEM part is an excellent fit and get the job done. I replaced this sensor and tube at the same time but just started having problems again. Make sure you remove the bracket and clean the port between the sensor and the tube as well!!!! Just did it and its back to running like a new truck.

Truck was loosing power. Replaced the EBP and tube made a hugh difference, Hook up the bottom tube first and loosen the bracket holding the top connection to get more movement. It goes on easy

Definitely worth buying original parts for our 7.3s. Mine was bad from the day I bought the truck and holy cow this sensor woke it up. I recommend buying the tube as well!
