I previously wrote a poor review on the pedestal pigtail as I didn't think it was working properly as I had cleared the code before I installed. The soft code doesn't show up anymore.
Just to be clear with people, 1 of the guys from riffraff Called and we spoke.
My initial problem was hard start After an engine change. He explained and got my dumb ass to realize none of the components associated with the EBPV or the sensors do absolutely nothing until the engine is running/started. He asked a few more questions and stated You have other problems!
In a nutshell. I had been having hard start problems before the engine change. The Glow Plug Solenoid was not working every time. Changed it and my problem went away!

Super easy to install and eliminates any codes associated with the EBPV delete. Awesome product!

2000 7.3L Excursion purchased 5/21 from original owner.
Truck has had EBPV DTC, original owners had done the delete, but didn't remember doing/having it done. Pigtail was left hanging in the valley, caked full of gunk.
I pulled turbo to do the ebpv delete,, discovered it was already done. Swapped the pedestal,, replaced the pigtail and added the ISOLATOR. EBPV DTC has not shown since.
Fits nice and snug on the pigtail, tied it up to the glow plug harness to keep it clear of everything else.
Highly recommend the Isolator if you have the delete.
