This is a great cap and much less than the dealer wanted.

I replace mine every 2-3 years... this is one of the best and most cost efficient steps you can take to prevent overheating... not the only one, but an easy one.

I bought a new degas bottle from rockauto.com that came with a cap a year ago. Since then my truck was running hot (220+ oil temp) on the highway. Since installing this new Ford cap, temps are way down and its obvious the cooling system working so much better! I don't think the old one was able to hold any pressure on the system!

This is OEM, mine came in the Motorcraft pacakaging. Fixed my seeping, leaky, aftermarket cap problems. Protect your cooling system with one from RiffRaff for much less than your local dealer will charge.

Cap was oem just as described

I didn't realize my old cap was in that bad of shape but after I replaced the degas bottle I figured I might as well replace the cap as well. After the new one I'm not sure my old one was even working right anymore. Great quality.

While this is a simple part, it is often overlooked for replacement. If not working properly, it will cause your cooling system to be substantially less efficient. Spend the money! It's easy enough to install and will insure that this aspect of your cooling system seals properly!
