Great value on all sensors. Keep spares!

Posted by Johnno Australia on Aug 9th 2019

A bought all the sensors necessary to keep my 02 7.3 on the road. I also carry spare sensors when I am in the Outback. All purchased from a reliable source with excellent sales service - Riff Raff.

    COOLANT TEMP SENSOR

    Quality FORD PART.
If Clay recommends something like using a OEM part such as this.... Just listen...follow his reccomendation, STAY AWAY FROM EBAY LIKE PARTS. They are !!NOT!! EQUAL...
Sometimes ford OEM parts are more money than like replacements the only difference being, OEM PARTS WORK!!
Not that I would know how buying a like temp sensor would not work

    Works Perfect

Ford sold me the wrong part. So did Oreilly's, and Autozone. Riff Raff hooked me up and got the Excursion back on the road. Thanks for the reviews that helped me out.

Best price for the right stuff

Posted by Steve on Jan 9th 2017

I tried using an aftermarket sender, even after being warned they don't usually work. But I thought for $7 I'd try it. It didn't work...

I used a paper clip in the wiring harness and turned the key in the ignition, guage jumps to the top. Guage is good, sender doesn't work.

Ordered Thai one from riff raff, they were the best price I could find for OEM anywhere except one shady eBay dealer. Ordered it, and it worked perfectly. Couldn't be happier.

Dealership sold me the wrong one. This one was the correct one and now my guage works.

    You must use this sensor

Posted by Scott on Nov 24th 2016

I tried getting one from a local auto parts store but my coolant gauge would not move. It is aggravating because you loose antifreeze when you replace the sensor so doing it more than once stinks. This sensor already has thread sealant and is ready to go. I was so happy to see coolant gauge starting to move finally. This website is awesome
