The PHP HydraFlash Titan Tune Unlock (PHP-TITAN) is the add-on for 7.3 owners running a Hydra Tuner with modified single-shot injectors. Modified single shot injectors take special tuning not offered with the standard Hydra purchase. This is for those who want tunes that match their modified injector setup—without waiting on custom files. Once purchased, Titan Unlock ties to your Hydra serial number, and the injector-specific tunes show up inside HydraFlash for you to download and re-load as often as you want.

 

How many tunes are available?

For Titan Unlock, depending on vehicle setup, around 15 different tunes will be available inside your HydraFlash software for your specific Hydra serial number/injector selection.

Also important: the Hydra Chip has 15 customizable tune slots (the other two positions are fixed: Module Bypass and No-Start). So even if you have access to a larger library, you can load 15 at a time onto the chip.

 

Injector setups supported

Titan Unlock is offered across common modified injector sizes/nozzle combos (examples include 160cc through 250cc with various nozzle options). However, nce you go much bigger than, say 250cc in flow, the injector modifications needed to flow that much fuel can vary greatly and therefore custom tuning is usually recommended past that point. Listen to your injector manufacturer, they'll know whats needed to run their injectors.

• Your Hydra serial number (required)
• A computer to run HydraFlash (our listing notes PC required and that HydraFlash is unavailable for Mac).
• And a Hydra with the loading cords/hardware they came with when purchased 

Open HydraFlash, use the Box/HEX conversion tool to find your HEX code, click Change next to a tune slot, select calibrations that match your HEX code, then click Program to write them to the chip.

 

One rule that prevents most “my truck stalls when switching” headaches

When programming multiple positions, keep every tune on the same HEX strategy. Mixing strategies is a common cause of stalling when switching levels.
