Electronic Repair - When you can't buy new, or fix it yourself, where do you go?

Electronic Repair - When you can't buy new, or fix it yourself, where do you go?

We started this blog as a way to help our fellow Powerstroke owners keep their trucks on the road and running great. We’ve shared tons of tips and tricks to help you do just that, but often we use companies that really help us with our own projects (and a few of yours in the past, too), yet we don’t offer them on the website and really haven’t had a way to tell the masses about how helpful they can be. So we’ll be sharing these companies here, with what they do, and what they help us with. Starting with Circuit Board Medics.

Circuit Board Medics has been helping us for years with mostly dash cluster repairs and overhead console repairs. These sensitive electronic items simply don’t last as long as our trucks last. And since Ford has discontinued most all of them by now, the only option is rolling the dice on used parts or repairing what you’ve got.

Overhead Consoles and Dash Clusters include electronics that 99% of us can’t repair ourselves. Like rebuilding transmissions, circuit board repair isn’t something most of us know. Circuit Board Medics specializes in repairing these electrical components, among many others, like FICM’s and ECU’s too. They’re quick, often turning jobs around the same day, and they’re inexpensive, usually around a couple hundred dollars max. Inexpensive, especially considering what these parts went for when they were offered brand new.  You simply pull your cluster or console, ship it to them after filling out their online order sheet (or giving them a call), and they’ll make it work like new again. Shoot, they even clean it as best they can, making for parts that not only work like new, they come back in better condition. They’re an extremely professional operation that we’ve trusted for years. A great company to keep in mind when looking for dash cluster or other electronic repairs.
