Installation was a breeze since I already had my turbo off (for WW2 install). Preloaded the actuator to the suggested amount. Prior to doing the WW2 and BigHead upgrades, I had put in a Hydra and 4" exhaust. I would notice when I hit about 12lbs of boost, my stock wastegate would start to shudder. With this one, not even close. With the upgrades I've done (Hydra, WW2, BigHead, MBRP Turbo back 4" exhaust, FRX, HPX) I went from topping out at about 18lbs of boost to maxing out at approximately 25psi before my check engine light comes on and the MAF signals to defuel. About $2k worth of upgrades, but definitely worth it.

Impressive product... Definitely an upgrade! I will never go back to an OEM actuator! This thing holds your boost longer and I don't know how, but it seems to build faster too! I haven't been able to tell if I've blown it off the seat... Me likey!

This was a very nice improvement from stock. Creates more boost and holds it longer for better towing.

My old wastegate actuator "failed steady state", needed a new one and have used Riffraff for other products and like their service. New waste gate actuator works great and no black smoke when getting on it.

I replaced my stock waste gate actuator while doing an EBPV delete. Let me tell you, I noticed an immediate and recognizable difference in throttle response and boost with the Banks Big Head. I recommend it to anyone with a tuner, intake/exhaust mods. I also noticed a drop in RPMs while cruising on the freeway.

Installed this actuator on my wife's 2002 Excursion 7.3. Took about 3 hours to do, as I had to remove the passenger side intercooler pipe to get room to work. Unbelievably strong acceleration now that the wastegate is no longer being pushed open. RiffRaff had the best price I found on it also. Great product!

Added to my stick turbo 02 7.3 and loved it the first time I test drove. Went from 24-25 psi of boost to 33 lbs of boost. Very happy
