AIH Delete Tapped Plug
I ended up not needing this plug, I have an early 99 F250 and this does not apply to my model year.

Get that heater out of the way.
In TX I my 7.3 will probably never use it, this delete seems to help, not drastic, but well worth it.

It's just a plug but very nicely machined and finished. Threads and seal are perfect.

AIH Delete Plug
Quality component easy to install. Haven’t had it long enough to determine if it helps mileage or not. By design it has to reduce turbulence and improve airflow in manifold.

AIH delete plug 99-03 Powerstroke
Shipped fast and packaged well. Very easy to install. Came with removable center plug for boost guage fitting. Price was not overly expensive. Could not tell if it made a difference in air flow, but it is logical to assume it does once you remove that big heater element. Quick, cheap, and easy mod.

You don't need this for your early 99. Be sure to always check the handy "fitment" tab.
