    Great filter

Posted by Unknown on Sep 8th 2015

It's awesome that it's washable. Received it quickly and put it in. Worth the cost. Haven't used it enough to know if there's any difference, but it is much better than the Napa 6637.

Lower egt and build boost quicker

Posted by Rob on Sep 1st 2015

Had the 6637 intake, wanted a filter with more cfm. Once installed the turbo spooled up much faster and my EGT's were much lower. My dp tuner liked it and it is also noticeably louder than the 6637. Smokes a little less. Love it. Definitely worth it.

Great company. Easy to order and fast delivery. Product installed easy. Works very well. Lowered egt's slightly, and seems to flow better than the orginal 6637. Be warned.....it's loud, but sounds great to me!

    Quality Addition

Posted by Bill M. on Mar 3rd 2015

First impression of the Big Boost was quality. After the install I was impressed with the Increased turbo spool up. Definitely moving more air than the dry 6637 filter. Glad I made the purchase.

    AFE Big Boost vs.6637

Posted by Jeff on Feb 2nd 2015

I had the opportunity to side by side compare the 6637 and AFE Big Boost, the Big Boost actually lowered my EGT's by at least 100 degree's there by allowing more acceleration while remaining in the safe zone....Also the AFE filter had the backorder status and Riffraff e-mailed me as soon as they were available and got me in on first dibbs,,,

    More Air

    Posted by M.Black on Jul 29th 2014

Went from an afe stage 2 to upgrading to the Big Boost from Afe. It became apparent I needed more air, after switching over to the big boost the 500hp 7.3 is breathing again! Thanks Riff Raff!

It gets five stars if you want what it delivers

    Posted by 2001 7.3l zf6 White Stallion on Feb 26th 2014

It makes a diy baaf stystem louder than the 6637 filter. Personally, I don't mind. The turbo wheel whistle also comes through much more. Again I don't mind. It sure feels like it lets more air through. The biggest Star goes to the flange, superb flexibility and snug fit unlike the rigid flange found on the 6637. I dig it:-)
