5 Necessary tool for Frx

Used this to remove the fuel rail plugs for the FRx install. Using an Allen wrench through the ball-lock holes made removal extremely easy. Highly recommended.

4 Add a hex...
Posted by Jim L on Jul 27th 2015
The socket worked well. I wasn't able to use it with a ratchet though. For the front plug, (01 F250) if the topside had a hex on the outside it would make it painless. I used a good set of vise grips instead (I wasn't going to pull anything else off).

5 A must have for FRX installs
Posted by Bill CHP on Nov 6th 2014
Based on recommendation for this socket I sure am glad I did order it as the front passenger plug would have been near impossible to drive out, the drivers side plug the socket would not go on the square plug due to the up pipe proximity, my X is a 2002. Recommended? Absolutely!

5 Snug fit

This socket worked good. I used it with my Matco long handle 1/4 drive rachet, and an adapter to 3/8 drive for DS under turbo, and with a longer extension for PS. The only thing that would make this better .... is if it were 1/4 drive. But, it is not necessary

5 works perfectly

Shipping was crazy fast. Worked perfectly. I was initially trying a stubby crescent wrench and an adjustable wrench and began rounding the head of the plug. I received the socket and slapped it on my ratchet and the plug came right out. Piece of cake. Thanks riffraff.
