The covers work equally well on both oiled and non-oiled filter elements to prevent larger debris from prematurely reducing critical air flow to your engine.
Installation Note: Take care installed over filter elements with metal cages as a metal snag can tear your cover.

Nice cover , it will keep the big stuff out and protect my investment.
I may restrict some air flow but barely noticeable, looks cool and works a treat. -

Custom service is 2nd to none, and I got the blue filter cover, it looks awesome under the hood, and seems like it will keep trash from getting to the filter, 100% Satisfied. .. ,and I gotta say, this kit woke my ole 95 f350 dully 7.3 powerstroke up big time!!!
