The covers work equally well on both oiled and non-oiled filter elements to prevent larger debris from prematurely reducing critical air flow to your engine.
Installation Note: Take care installed over filter elements with metal cages as a metal snag can tear your cover.

sweet new pre-filter
I have a new one stop diesel shop!! When I found these guys online and saw the price for the filter and pre-filter I ordered them up toute sweet. Fits perfectly with the filter and is a necessity where I currently live due to excessive dirt road travel. Worth every penny for the added protection and piece of mind. I was worried at first cause a couple reviews said that they were so thin and flimsy that they ripped trying to get them on. I encountered no such issue. I put it on before installing the filter and it was a match made in heaven. Really appreciate people who aren't worried about sharing their faith either. We need more good honest people to do the same and maybe we wouldn't be in the condition we're in. Thanks guys your like a breath of fresh air. Didn't expect to see a place like yours to be in the area you're in having been born and raised in the area. I have several late year 7.3l diesels and now know where to go for quality parts. Very breathable material. Great idea for keeping grime off the filter. Nice to know I don’t have to worry about it when I’m working under the hood.

Outer Wears
Mostly satisfied with the product quality and price. If they could just make the tensile strength a bit tougher I would give it 5 stars. I’m not a dissatisfied customer though. I just have a small hole in the screen where there wasn’t one before.
