The covers work equally well on both oiled and non-oiled filter elements to prevent larger debris from prematurely reducing critical air flow to your engine.
Installation Note: Take care installed over filter elements with metal cages as a metal snag can tear your cover.

When I ordered my first filter and cover about three or four years ago, the cover had a drawstring at one end and was sewn shut at the other. The current covers have drawstrings at both ends making them much easier to remove and clean. I am impressed by the continuing redesign and improvement of the products offered by Riffraff.

Replacement Cover
I just purchased this item. However right out of the box I noticed the quality material it is made out of. I was easy to install, no issues. They didn't have the color I wanted but I guess you can't go wrong with black. However the black still looks great.
