A great upgrade for your older SD. Much brighter, better beam coverage. Not hard to install, but use an air saw or roto- zip tool. I cut the old pigtails off and wired the harness conversion directly. Huge improvement if you need to remove the light in the future to change a bulb,etc. No more stupid retention clips! Thanks for the great, clearly written installation instructions.

Finally came to my senses and upgraded to these lights rather than keep my old, dim, yellowed glass lights in the truck. Much better visibility, much better light pattern, MUCH better looking than the old 3 piece ones.

Put these in my 99 SD because I could hardly see at night anymore. Definitely worth going with OEM lights. My last set of aftermarket lights did not last before they stared getting hazy and dim. Used a rotozip to cut out the fiberglass header and all went pretty fast and smooth. Great fit and look!

These headlights are much brighter than my crazed stock headlight lenses and turn signals and provide a much more usable beam. Make sure have a Dremel tool, gloves, and a particle mask available when you do a retrofit on your older truck since the header is made of fiber glass reinforced resin. I highly recommend this upgrade for first generation super duties.

I did this conversion to a 2000 F350 and I can see again! Lights look great and look like they've always been there. My suggestions are to just remove the entire piece you need to cut for the lights to fit... it's only like 5-6 extra bolts. Makes it much easier and you don't need to worry about cutting stuff behind it.

Lights of excellent quality , a stream of light were pleased .
