Turbo Re-Install Kit GTP38 for Ford 7.3L (99-03) - GZ-14-009
Kit for re-installing your Early 99-03 stock GTP38 Turbo and is a must have whenever you remove the turbo, replace the compressor wheel or simply performing turbo maintenance.
The kit comes complete with two Flange Bolts that are metric grade 10.9, zinc coated. The metric grade 10.9 specification is a hard bolt material that will stand up to the rigors of traversing rough terrain while holding the turbo in place tightly without stretching the bolt threads. This is the same flange bolt design that comes as original equipment.
NOTE: Other kits that contain standard machine bolts with washers allow enough movement that the bolts can loosen over time.

Worked great, and was nice to replace the old worn out stock bolts.

O-rings
After removing my old o-rings a cleaning the turbo pedestal, the new o-rings were installed and the pedestal reinstalled. After several days I noticed another oil leak at the pedestal base. I’m going to remove the pedestal to see if I made a mistake or perhaps a defective o-ring is the issue.

Turbo reinstall kit
Not much to review. The Orings appear to be good quality as do the 2 bolts. The only thing I questioned was the bolt torque.. Ford updated their torque specs from 18 foot pounds to I think 36 foot pounds. Riff Raff says 18 foot pounds. I went with Ford's torque specs. That's about all there is to say about it.
