I went through 3 variations of the "Hutch Mod" and pre-pump filters and could not get all of the air out of my fuel. I tried the Riffraff filter, Racor strainer, and a Napa filter on a standard base, 2 of those were letting in so much air that my fuel pump was cavitating. Even going through each connection with a vacuum pump didn't work out for me, double fuel hose clamps just aren't enough for a connection that will be under vacuum.

The fourth time I dropped the tank I removed all the screen and pickup foot in the tank and extended the tubing to less than 1/8" from the bottom and installed this Airdog system feeding my stock pump. No more fuel pump cavitation, no more air in the fuel, I have no noticeable injector cackle with all 8 AD injectors and the RiffRaff FRX kit.

This is the easiest way to remove all the air from the fuel in your 7.3. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the fuel line that comes with the kit is junk, you will need to find your local Parker dealer and purchase 15-18 feet (depending on your mounting location) of their 801 fuel hose and toss the stuff that comes with the kit in the trash.

Did receive the incorrect parts and Air Dog wants to ship with 3-4 day delivery
And doesn't effect Air Dog if you wait
