    does help with temps

Posted by Travis England on Nov 19th 2022

i bought one little over a year ago has been good for the most part. My temps never get over 130. I am running a stage 2 trans with stage 2 injectors. Only complaints i have is the original gasket is a pos and will leak. i learned the hard way, I ended up just reusing the oem one. The crush ring on the drain plug always leaks no matter what you try. other then that it does keep temps way low even in middle of summer.

I’ve seen lower temps since putting the pan on, just not the 20-50 degrees that was advertised. Other than that, awesome product.

    Great pan!

I bought this pan for my tow rig and combined with an oversized cooler, my transmission stays under 170 no matter the ambient temperature.

    Great, easy to install upgrade

I needed a new transmission pan and decided to spend the extra money on this one even though I was doubtful that it would work as well as it claims. I'm actually very impressed by it. I will say that if I'm in a traffic jam with my 31' travel trailer and constantly stopping and going the trans will still get up around 200 on a hot day, but as soon as traffic starts moving at a decent speed it cools down to 170 or 180 with non synthetic mercon fluid on 100 degree days. I'd definitely buy it again.

    Worst pan on the market

Posted by Kyler on Feb 7th 2017

At no fault of riffraff, I love these guys. First pan leaked through a defective weld on the cooling tube, second pan leaked around the Pan temp sender weld. After two faulty pans and wasting trans fluid I wasn't giving it a third shot I went with a different brand

Put this on my 2002 f250 and it kept the temperature at 150. It never exceeded 160 even climbing the mountains in Colorado. Very good product. Very easy to install. Took me less than an hour.

Spent over 10g on a 2001 super duty f350 8 inj wiring harness and related parts when the tranny was checked had a lot of use and abuse 150,000 miles "not all mine" so trany was rebuilt 3 disk convertor with all the upgrades pyro boost and tranny gages had this pan installed and it DOES keep it cool climed the grapevine pulling a 23foot toy hauler full and kept it around 150 to 170 not bad for an old white truck.
