    Get it in case

These are for an EXHAUST component so you want to take a good look at them to see if they’re still good. All those heat cycles wreck havoc on them. I opted to save a few bucks on my initial order of parts for my rebuild so didn’t order new bolts/nuts/studs but after I pulled it apart and ruined both up pipe collector bolts and nuts, I ordered these too as insurance.

Because these studs were still in decent shape I didn’t make an attempt to pull them on the up-pipe collector I put back on my pickup (I ruined my original Up-Pipe collector by breaking bolts off that I couldn’t get out even with heat/easy out but got one from a friend).

Order two of these as insurance, two up pipe collector bolts, two up pipe collector nuts, and the up-pipe reinstall kit. You might not use these but you will definitely want and use the other hardware.

If you’re putting a new collector on your 7.3L don’t even consider re-using the old hardware. Just order all new.

    Glad I purchased !
Hardware did not come out, pulled turbo with collector and up-pipe collars. Applied anti-seize before installing and helps for turbo install. Make sure you buy 2 for your job. Would definitely buy again if needed.

    Necessary for Up-Pipe change

Bought a new collector to and needed two of these. Cheap insurance but glad I had them since I had to torch off the old nuts and of course rendered the old studs damaged. Should've bought two bolts as well for the top of the collector as those stripped coming out. Quick run to the Uh-OhZone and had the nuts for these studs and bolts for the top of the collector. If you replace the collector, get two of these, two nuts for them and two bolts.
