It make getting the fuel plugs out of the head a breeze. Seems to be made custom for this job, 1/4 drive socket and small enough to fit even up by the HPOP reservoir.

Made easy work of the FRx install with this socket. Not sure why one review stated that it wouldn't work on the passenger side as it worked well for me by following the description instructions to use a allen tool through the holes in the socket as there isn't room for the rachet. Great tool to have in the box, haven't ever been able to find one of these bfore.

Socket would be perfect if it were I/4 in drive. Socket needs to be 0.125-inch shorter to allow it to fit with a 1/4-inch breaker bar with 3/8-inch adapter. If socket were both I/4 in drive and shorter it would work with low profile ratchet.

Worled great for driver rear plug. Was a bit to long to allow ratchet to fit On passenger front plug I cut a 1/8 “ off the ratchet side to allow clearance.

Bought the frx and tried to install without this tool as tried with a few different tools and none of them worked amazing how one simple little tool will make your life some much easier just buy it with the frx save the headaches.

The pipe plug socket is well made and no doubt a quality tool. The issue I had was I wasn't able to use it on one side due to clearance issues.

The item itself is great, it looks just as well made as any other socket. My problem was that it's a 3/8 drive and not 1/4 drive. In a 3/8 drive setup I couldn't get it on the passenger side plug and was only able to use it to break the driver side plug loose, only reason for 3 stars.

Tried to remove the front passenger square plug on the fuel rail for the FRx install on my 7.3. After failing with wrenches and vise grips due to the tight space I finally ordered this. I missed seeing it when ordering the FRx. Save the grief and buy this when getting the FRx. Money well spent.
